Avik Sanyal is a professional with more than 35 years of experience currently managing PA Capital Partners as Managing Partner since 2009. In PA Capital Partners, Avik backed by few European funds has been instrumental in creating the organization from scratch building businesses, clients, acquiring talents, and orchestrating the entire collaboration between funds, investors and clients. Under his leadership, PA Capital Partners is now a premier syndication and advisory house having closed large complex fund-raising and collaborative structures both nationally and internationally. Prior to this, Avik worked as CEO and India Head for an American MNC in ICT/SI industry for 5 years. Even prior to this, he was Country Manager India and SAARC countries for Polaroid Corporation and Country Head - India Subcontinent for Mitsubishi Electric Corporation having worked and lived in more than 8 countries including US, Japan, Hong Kong, China, and Singapore apart from India. An MBA from Calcutta University, Avik is very well networked in the PE & VC fraternity as he was CEO and only US resource for one of the most prominent VC companies out of the Silicon Valley managing their business and investments in India.
Mohammed Suhail Sheikh has 30 years of work experience in banking and financial services. He has 16 years of experience in building retail and SME finance vertical for global banking and financial institutions in India like GE Capital, Citibank and more recently building institutional clients businesses including private banking, Investment banking and structured finance for large clients in Real estate and logistics sectors that includes on shore and off shore trades with Ambit Capital. His areas of expertise include deal making, product development and sales, credit collections and assessment processes, risk management and operational controls and compliance. Mr. Suhail has masters in Marketing Management from NMIMS, Mumbai and B.Com from Mithibai College, Mumbai University.
Sudipto Dasgupta based in Madrid, Spain is a Banking & Financial Services professional with over 30 years’ experience across various countries and markets with Citibank, ABN Amro, Royal Bank of Scotland, National Recovery Service LLC and his own enterprises based out of Madrid, Spain. Most recently, Sudipto was Senior Vice President Operations with National Recovery Service LLC, one of Russia’s largest Distressed Debt management and Collections Companies. Prior to this Sudipto was COO of ABN Amro Consumer Finance, Spain managing overall operations of a business with a portfolio size of € 250 Million, and 30 thousand clients spread across Spain. He managed various European Consumer Banking operations for ABN Amro, in live businesses and initiated start-up projects in Romania, Ukraine, Serbia, Russia, Spain and Italy. Prior to this, he was in various senior management roles with ABN Amro India for 5 years. An MBA from Birla Institute of Technology, Sudipto spent the first 7 years of his career with Citibank India.
Arpita Chatterjee based in Vancuover Canada, has more than 30 years of experience in the financial sector. She has held several management positions in India and Canada, including seven years in KPMG and Ernst & Young in their auditing, taxation and corporate advisory services departments. She has handled a large number of global clients. She is a Chartered Accountant, member of the ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India), member of the ICAI Toronto chapter and Vice President (Finance) in the Quebec chapter of the Indo-Canadian Chamber of Commerce (ICCC). Arpita is also a member & director on behalf of the ICCC in the board of directors of the "Freedom from Poverty Foundation". Arpita specializes in Finance & Accounting related functions/projects. She currently is the CFO of a healthcare company in Vancouver Canada.
Dr. Moteza Nasrollahi, based in Istanbul Turkey is a BE Civil Engineering, MBA, and a PHD in marketing, with twenty-six years of experience in executive work and contracting, including the construction of 1,800 residential units, the implementation of a part of the GTI cigarette factory building in Iran, with a wide business network of vendors and . He specializes in exports of iron ore Oil & Gas and commodities worldwide with several vendors and suppliers world-wide and has a production plant for concrete slabs having executed several projects in re-engineering of old production plants worldwide.
Jamila Rahimova,, based in Dubai and Baku, Azerbaijan, has a graduate degree in World Politics and International affairs deeply networked in the Oil & Gas industry. She is very well connected to the OPEC Plus community and has a wide base of suppliers and energy producers in the entire Gulf Region.
